Jeffrey M. Lampiasi is the founding partner of Lampiasi Law Firm LLP. He started the Firm in 2000, after having spent a combined total of 12 years in private practice in the real estate departments of two of New York's premier law firms, Proskauer Rose LLP and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.
Mr. Lampiasi has extensive experience providing counsel to a diverse group of owners, developers, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants, ranging in size and sophistication from single property owners to publicly traded REITs, on a broad range of commercial and residential real estate transactions and other business and personal legal matters. He is particularly skilled at finding simple and creative solutions to complex and challenging real estate and legal issues.

In addition, during his tenure at Proskauer Rose and Fried Frank, Mr. Lampiasi represented clients such as Vornado Realty Trust and The Mendik Company in the bidding, acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of major office buildings throughout New York City, including One Penn Plaza, Two Penn Plaza, Two Park Avenue, 640 Fifth Avenue, 888 Seventh Avenue, the Architects and Designers Building at 150 East 58th Street and The Fuller Building at 595 Madison Avenue, to name a few. In addition, Mr. Lampiasi has been involved in the sale and financing of several marquis hotel and theme park properties, including Le Meridien in New Orleans, the Houston Intercontinental Hotel, the East Side Marriott, Park Central Hotel and several SeaWorld theme parks. Ranging from simple to complex, his prior transactions include tax-driven deals involving the sale and redemption of partnership interests and sale-leasebacks. Mr. Lampiasi has also been involved in the construction and build-out of high-end retail and office spaces for Hermes, Club Med, Playboy Enterprises, LA Gear, American Federation of Musicians and Investcorp International.
